People’s Emergency Center (PEC) helps homeless families through a comprehensive approach and is recognized nationally as a best practice.  The families who turn to us for help achieve stability through our shelter and housing, as well as on- site counseling, employment, parenting and children’s programs. PEC’s programs and services form the foundation of our work in pursuing sound public policy.

People’s Emergency Center Community Development Corporation (PECCDC) revitalizes the West Philadelphia neighborhood where PEC provides services. Together, PEC and PECCDC build strong families and strong communities.
